Position Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Intern to assist our team in managing and creating content for various social media platforms. This role will involve content planning, community engagement, and analytics tracking, with the goal of enhancing CVSpan’s online presence and supporting our brand's voice. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about social media, has a keen eye for design, and understands current trends in the digital marketing space.
Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging, visually appealing content (graphics, short videos, captions) for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Collaborate with designers to maintain brand consistency across social media.
  • Content Calendar Management: Help plan and schedule posts across all social channels. Ensure the content is aligned with campaign goals and company announcements.
  • Monitor comments, direct messages, and tagged posts. Respond to followers, engage with users, and identify opportunities to build meaningful relationships with the community.
  • Trend Analysis & Ideation: Research social media trends, especially within the design and tech space, to propose new ideas and formats that resonate with our target audience.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics, prepare reports on social media activities, and provide insights and recommendations to enhance engagement and reach.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align social content with ongoing campaigns, product launches, and events.
Requirements
  • Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong communication skills with an understanding of CVSpan’s tone of voice.
  • Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date on social media trends, especially in the design and creative sectors.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in social media management or content creation.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, or native analytics).
  • Interest in design, branding, and the creative industry.
